About Us


Hermann Schulze is a native of New Orleans, La., and a graduate of the University of Louisiana Lafayette. As a college athlete, he was confused about which career would be a great fit. His research and determination to find a meaningful career is what set him on his path. He began as a student leader then intern for an international training company. After college, he became a full-time employee and moved quickly to become the youngest director the company ever had. He has spoken to more than 500,000 students around the country at in school presentations and  workshops at high schools and universities with topics as preparing for college, choosing a major, and finding and launching their career.

He has interviewed hundreds of mentors for his own career and in researching people who have found a fulfilling and rewarding career.   After years of research and analysis, Hermann identified  5 critical steps that those who have achieved career success have completed or continue to utilize.

Schulze credits his understanding of finding a career you have a passion for to his powerful mentors like Robert Kiyosaki, Walter Hailey and Bill Gove, The Father of Public Speaking.  A large part of Hermann’s programs include rarely taught skills students MUST learn to find and develop a network of strong mentors and develop what he calls, “CHAMPIONS”.  Champions are mentors who recognize the talent and potential of their mentee’s AND recommend, promote or endorse them.

In 2003, Hermann founded CareerTHINK career testing and coaching. Schulze has delivered workshops and presentations for high school and college students where students learn a formula to find the best career fit for them.

Schulze is a nationally certified speaker for Monster.com’s Making It Count, where he speaks to high school and college students on maximizing their opportunities in and out of the classroom.

He is a certified consultant for the About U Career Assessment, which is a Birkaman® Career Report. He works primarily with students and young adults using the About U assessment to help them uncover their strengths, weaknesses and needs.

He is a certified affiliate for The Highlands Ability Battery, founded upon Johnson O’Connor’s research, designed to measure a persons natural abilities.  This aptitude test will

He has judged 12 Miss USA state pageants and helped train many national winners, including Miss Teen USA 1999 Vanessa Minello, Miss USA 2001 Kandace Krueger, and Miss USA 2003 Suzie Castillo.

Hermann has delivered thousands of speeches to over 100,000 high school and college students. His passion is helping students recognize and take advantage of their natural strengths to have a rewarding career.

Hermann Schulze has been guiding and advising young people about school and career over the last fourteen years. Along the way, he created CareerThink, a seminar called “the best of its kind” for high school and college-aged students, to better equip them for success in a changing educational climate.

To make his program comprehensively successful he learned and mentored with:

  • Mr. Walter Hailey, who built three separate companies from scratch and took them to Wall Street’s NASDAQ market for a combined value of over 400 million dollars;  Walter was a well known speaker and author whose sales trainings were well known across North America.
  • Mr. Bill Gove, founder and first president of the National Speakers Bureau, called “The Father of Public Speaking” was one of the greatest public speakers American business has ever seen.
  • Mrs. Paula Miles, Executive Director, MISS USA and MISS UNIVERSE, known as the model of performance and professionalism under pressure;
  • Mr. and Mrs. Si Ragsdale, owners of two of the nation’s Top Ten Summer Camps, Camp Steward for Boys and Heart of the Hills for Girls, who taught him the meaning of servant leadership.
  • Mrs. Lou Kennedy, considered the foremost authority in America on professional decorum, etiquette, manners and protocol;
  • Mr. Steve Siebold, former professional athlete and owner of Mental Toughness University, who teaches athletes and business people the keys to performing under pressure;
  • Mr. Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad, who taught him how to help students achieve financial freedom.
